Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech brings the full strength of the life sciences ecosystem together annually in one dynamic, high-impact week. This year for the first time this week will feature AusBiotech’s three flagship events – the AusBiotech International Conference, AusMedtech Conference and AusBiotech Invest. There’s no better event for anyone wanting to business with Australia’s biotech, medtech or health tech sector.
The AusBiotech International Conference and AusMedtech will be held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre at 2684-2690 Gold Coast Hwy, Broadbeach, Queensland. AusBioetch Invest will be held in a private venue in Surfers Paradise. Site Tours, Satellite Events and Sector Dinners will be held throughout the week around the Gold Coast.
AusMedtech, the AusBiotech International Conference, and AusBiotech Invest will form part of a connected conference experience delivered across one week.
Following record attendance at AusMedtech 2026 in Perth, AusBiotech announced it will align its three flagship conferences together under one major, signature annual event: Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech.
From October 2026, AusMedtech, the AusBiotech International Conference, and AusBiotech Invest will form part of a connected conference experience delivered across one week. Importantly, each conference will retain its own identity, audience, and purpose.
The AusBiotech International Conference and AusMedtech Conference will be delivered as a shared program experience, allowing delegates to move across sessions and engage more broadly across Australia’s life sciences ecosystem with a single ticket.
The decision reflects extensive feedback from members, investors, partners, and international stakeholders. The change creates one large, scalable week of conferences, exhibition, partnered events, networking, business partnering and investment engagements designed to cater for the entire life sciences ecosystem. By enabling scale, AusBiotech will work with partners to attract wider Australian and international engagement to grow the ecosystem and succeed on a world stage.

If you are registered for an event, a delegate list will be emailed to your shortly before, as well as after the event. A delegate list will also be available in the event app. Speakers and Partners will be announced in the months leading up to the event.

The Investor Readiness Platform (IRP) is designed to support company readiness in general and to help identify opportunities that may align with investor-facing activities. Select companies not taking part in the IRP may be invited to attend AusBiotech Invest.
